Three generations of Dafnis Family members tend the aged “Lianolia” variety olive trees, many of which are over 500 years old. We use the gentlest possible harvesting and pressing methods and nature rewards us with a superb, unfiltered olive oil with the aroma of freshly-pressed olives, emerald green color, rich texture and unique peppery taste. All are indications of unusually high polyphenol content, which is what gives olive oil its healthy benefits. Add a finer taste dimension to salads or drizzle over warm food just before serving.
Ultra Premium EVOO polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20 gr. of olive oil.

’The Governor Limited Edition” is one of the fewest olive oils in the world which has been awarded with (HEALTH CLAIM REPORT) from National and Kapodistrian university of Athens (Department of Pharmacognosy & Natural Products Chemistry) in cooperation with UC Davis Olive Center (University of California) and because indicates a rare percentage of polyphenols, much higher than the one predicted by the law for a product to receive a health claim report. Also due to the extraordinary high content of polyphenols, ‘’The Governor Limited Edition” takes part in experiments against Alzheimer in research from University of Louisiana and the extraction of the healthy ingredient Oleocanthal.
